  1. i think that she is saying that female writers aren't being published more then none because the authors and the people in charge if what is being put in the reviews and what selected to be published is more male than female.

  2. The magazines aren't reviewing more female writers because there aren't enough female writers to write about. The article had shown that through statistics that more men are being published than women, by a significant amount. Without a good amount of women writers being published there is no way that any magazines can write about them if they are not out there to be reviewed on.
