I believe that all the pictures with the models that are wearing outfits that are a mix of colors, misshaped, and/or have something attached to the clothing are representing a fashion risk. Also the outfits of the models in the head wraps are representing a fashion risk as well because especially with our American culture being so biased again the middle east. The clothing designer is aware and thrives off producing clothing that is a risk so people open their eyes more to their ideas and new things. The outfits that are not taking a fashion risk are those whom are labeled as everyday clothes. Which include office attire (dresses, skirts, suits) and also sweat pants or t-shirts. Since it is everyday wear, people do not notice the clothes as much as say a women in an office with wire strung all around her skirt and colored plastic wrap as a tank top.
I think Michelle Obama's outfits can be considered fashion risks. Our first lady chooses to dress conservatively and somewhat simply. I'm sure a lot of people expect her to be more fashion forward than she chooses to be, however, she makes a statement with the clothes she wears. I don't think Lady Gaga's outfits can be considered fashion risks anymore. At first everyone was shocked with her ridiculous ensembles such as the meat suit and space outfit, but now we have come to expect crazy outfits from this pop star. If she wanted to take a fashion risk she should throw on a sweatshirt, some jeans, and a pair of Ugg boots.
I think many of these photos show fashion risks. Fashion is said to be used to make a statement and by looking at some of these outfits, their statements may be misconstrued. When we look at lady gaga's outfit maded entirely of bubbles, it's a very high fashion risk because it is so strange and very revealing. But i also agree with what Gina said, we would be more shocked to see lady gaga in anything less than something that is not a fashion risk. I think that most people make quick judgments instead of thinking about the statement a person is trying to make with their fashion. For example, at first glance, someone might think some of the outfits are just ugly instead of being openminded about the statement the wearer is trying to make.
I think most of them show fashion risk...because they're not considered the "norm" but who's to really judge whats normal and not these day? There are so many trends out here you can never really keep up with the normal one. People typically either wear what's the cool thing at the time or, they dont care. Most of these people are wearing what they want and think is cool for themselves and by doing so they're setting the statement for others to join in.
I think that Lady Gaga shows a fashion risk because she is practically wearing nothing. There is only bubbles covering her. I think that Michelle Obama is not a fashion risk because she is all covered up and look very presentable. All of the people are fashionable in their own ways though.
In my opinion Nikki Minaj represents a fashion risk.I think she is the RAP version of the POP artist Lady Gaga with all the different styles of "strange" outfits and colored hair. I am not really sure where she was going with this outfit,i feel as if she is trying to imitate a peacock. However, I do consider Michelle Obama as not taking a fashion risk-- she is well covered and looks very suitable ,being first lady.
i think most of the pictures are fashion risk. Like another blogger said lady gaga is always a fashion because she like to be different as well as make a statement with her clothes. Anything with loud and/or alot of patterns can be very risky depending on the occassion of the outfits. Michelle Obama isn't taking a risk in my opinion but to others she mite be taking a risky by wearing certain (bright)colors, but she keeps it very clean, cut, simply, and classy as a first lady should.
The first thing that I have noticed about all of these different fashion statements are that they fit the person that is wearing it. When looking at the attire of the first lady Michelle Obama, I could tell that she is a strong and intelligent lady. Her attire also lets someone know that just because you have to portray yourself in a certian you can still be very fashionable as well as have some sex appeal, while still remaining appropriate. I think that we all believe that Lady Gaga is a fashion risk hands down. Although her attire expresses individuality it is something that the average person will NOT wear unless it is halloween. Nicki Minaj is also someone that expresses individuality and sometimes people try and copy her style, thats considering the hair styles that she has, i.e. her bangs. As far as her clothing goes I feel as if no one else could pull off her look, she owns it. Other then the few pictures of people in sweats and jeans, everything else is a fashion risk to me, and thats probably because I could never see myself in any of those oufits.
Tiwanna Fowler I think all the photos represent a fashion risk. No matter what one is wearing if it’s a nice t-shirt and nice jeans or sweats, someone will be there to judge you. People will always have an ideal of what they believe is appropriate. It’s up to people to be more open minded to different ideas and change. Reese Witherspoon may have just finished working out when that picture was taken of her. It looks like she don’t have on make-up, her hair was tied back, and she has on sweats. I’m pretty sure the press made a lot of fun of her, because she was seen with “normal”.
I feel that the majority of these outfits could be labeled as a fashion risk. Fashion in my opinion is the dare to be different while expressing yourself at the same time. Sometimes being different is looked as being not normal which makes it a risk. What might be cute and real fashionable to some may be just plain ugly to others. Lady gaga and Nicki Minaj fashion is very noticeable, different and kind of weird but it fits there personality from listening to their music. Michelle Obama, i feel that she looks very nice and professional, everything is covered up that needs to be covered and its looked as a normal conservative attire. The lady from legally blond i feel this could be a fashion risk in people eyes just because you would think she wouldnt be caught wearing anything of that nature.
Michelle Obama clearly shows by what she is wearing that she a professional and conservative in what she has chosen to wear. However, Lady Gaga is wearing or not wearing an outfit that you would not see somebody like a professional, student or mother wearing everyday. It is not practical. However, I like the fact that people that choose it wear clothing that suits their personality or are making a statement can do so.
fashion is something that people us to express themselves in a manor that best shows the world how they feel about themselves and the people around them. fashion can be treated as a way to get ahead in your career, like Lady GaGa and Nicki Minaj, who both try and think outside the box with their fashion so people will recognize them and be more interested in the things they do. fashion can also be something that can be used to show other people their status in the world. like Michelle Obama who always dresses more on the conservative side because of the status of her husband, the president. overall fashion is something that will always be changing as long as people find better ways to express themselves through their clothes.
I feel some of the outfits would not be considered as a fashion risk depending on where the outfit is being worn. Like Michelle Obama in her long dresses n half coat and the men in the dress shirt, pants, shoes and tie would not be considered a fashion risk if they were going to a business meeting or job interview. With that said, if the outfits worn by Lady GaGa, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj were to a business meeting or job interview I do not think they would be taken professionally but if they were going to a big fashion show then their attire might be perfect for that job. Even if their outfits were worn on the street I think they would be looked at as a risk. In the end anyone can wear what they want as long as they can take criticism well because people are judged about their attire no matter what they may be wearing.
I definitely agree with the comment that majority of the models and celebrities represent a fashion risk because at anytime there are people who disagree with what they are wearing because it may not reflect society’s definition everyday attire, such as sweatshirt and jeans. I feel that Michelle Obama’s outfit is somewhat not a risk because people expect her to dress conservatively as the First Lady opposed to more revealing outfits. If she were to wear more revealing outfits then it may bring a lot of negative attention but she plays it safe which is a good thing.
Like a previous blogger said, depending on who's judging any of these outfits can be considered a fashion risk. This is because everyone has their own since of fashion. Our first lady, Michelle Obama is expected to dress classy and conservative like she does, therefore there isn't any risk in her outfits. Neither is there any risk in the suits that the men are wearing. On the other hand, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj represent huge fashion risk, simply because both of their outfits are very different and out there. Also, like me, many people don't understand what they are trying to portray or what statement they are trying to make with the things that they wear.
I think that the most blatant fashion risks that are represented above are the outfits that Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga are wearing. Neither one of them are following trends set by other people. However, I think that almost all of the outfits shown can represent a fashion risk to a certain degree. Even the picture of Reese Withersspoon could be considered a risk because as a celebrity, she is expected to dress in a certain way, so the fact that she was just wearing sweatpants would be a risk for her because of the stigma attached to being famous.
I think some outfits are more risky than others. Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj had the most striking looks. Tavi was risky in a different, more subtle way. However, some "safe" outfits, like the sweats Reese Witherspoon was wearing, can be perceived as risky. For instance, a celebrity will always be expected to wear designer clothes, look clean and perfect, so it's risky for one of them to appear in public in a more informal outfit. The outfits that are less risky are the ones that are more common and anyone can picture themselves wearing.
I think as some people have said lady gaga's outfit is probably the most unique outfit. But i think she is aiming for that affect. I dont think i have ever seen lady gaga in a hoody and jeans. Michelle Obama is on the other side of the spectrum, she is going for the more conservative look. I dont think anything about her look would really grab any ones eye. The two women are expresssing themselves in two totally different ways, and i think this also shows their personality on a day to day life.
I think Lady Gaga is representing the biggest risk on the magazine cover because she is exposing her body to the whole world to see. In the other picture of her she is also representing risk because what she is wearing is not something people wear everyday but she took the chance and that's what makes he different then everyone. I don't think the first few pictures represent risk because people wear that everyday and it is very conservative.
I feel that a lot of these outfits could be considered fashion risks. There are so many different styles of clothing now days that what may be normal to one person may be unusual to another. Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga I feel wear many outfits that are considered risky. They are not afraid to wear what they want so that they can express their personalities. I do not believe that Michelle Obama displays a fashion risk since she is the first lady and is almost expected to dress conservatively.
I think that all these pictures show some type of risk in its own way. Michelle Obama shows risk because the first lady is considered to be very conservative and wear just blazers. Her style is a style different she always has some type of color on. But overall Nicki Minaji and Lady Gaga are taking the most risk.
Fashion in and of itself is risky due to the many young men and women that idolize and follow celebrities in the media. Lady Gaga is a good example of someone who is taking a risk with fashion. First of all, she is posing nude on the cover of a magazine and is only partially covered. Second of all, she is always dressed in bizarre, risky outfits and by doing so she seems to be trying to prove to everyone that she is her own person and refuses to follow the current, up-to-date fashion trends that the rest of the world seem to be wearing. Another woman that does this as well is Gwen Stefani. Since she became a fairly well known artist around 2004, she has always had a different way of expressing herself other than through her songs. It almost always seems as though she is trying to express her personality through her fashion. I think it's great that these two women take such risks with their fashion choices and don't try to follow what the rest of the world is wearing.
I think that most of these photos are considered a fashion risk. Things that Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga are wearing seems to be the most risky because it is not something that someone would wear on an everyday basis. The outfits they wear are not the "norm", even though people have their own definitions of todays norm. However, wearing a sweatshirt and ugg boots is considered normal.
I think that Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga have the most risk in their outfits. They set a new side to fashion in general. I don't think that Michelle Obama shows a risk at all. In her outfits she is very conservative which she needs to be in the position that she is in. Allie Deyo
I believe that all the above fashion statements could be perceived as a "fashion risk". I also believe that they all could be considered not risky at all. The idea of fashion and the way that it is perceived is extremely relative and conditional in nature. In my opinion the idea of something being a fashion risk is very dependent on the ideals and culture of the both the individual viewing and wearing the clothing. What may be considered a risk to some does not necessarily account for all. The definition of what is modest, acceptable or risky differs vastly across the different cultures of the world. Another thing that I think should be taken into consideration is one's definition of a "risk" and what exactly is at stake when we make our fashion decisions.
I feel that any of these outfits can be considered fashion risks. Since no one is able to determine the real meaning of "normal" clothing or fashion, than we can not properly put a label on something as a risk. Fashion is something that is constantly changing, therefore everyone is free to change their views of fashion as well. For example, Lady Gaga and Michelle Obama are two completely different people with different images to uphold, therefore their fashion risks will be different. Lady Gaga is more daring with her choice of clothing because she is making a different statement than Michelle Obama. As the first lady, Michelle is expected to be classy and conservative so her fashion choice suites her image. In a world were fashion is constantly updating, fashion risks are being taken everyday and in my opinion it's interesting to see people who are dressed in outfits other than ugg boots or sweatshirts.
I think that most fashion is considered risky because no matter what someone is wearing, something is always said about it. Lady Gaga is definitely taking a risk because she is almost nude on the cover of Rollingstone. She has always been out there with her sense of fashion and how she behaves, which gives people the impression that she doesn't care what other people think of her. Nikki Minaj also has a crazy outfit on that most people would not wear on a regular basis. These two women probably know right when they step foot out of the door that people are going to be talking about what they are wearing and I think it's awesome that they don't care. On the other hand, Reese Witherspoon is weearing normal everyday sweats, but if that picture was put in a magazine the caption for it would be something along the lines of "Reese is looking a little rough these days she is probably depressed," just because she is not all dolled up.
Lady Gaga's outfit is a fashion risk because it shows her creativity and that she don't care about anyone's opinion on what she wears. The bubble outfit is something that is out of the norm but in her eyes and maybe a few others, this is normal. I don't believe anyone can actually judge someone else in fashion because everyone have their own sense of style and they express themselves differently in doing so. Shanicqua Landis
After looking at every single persons personal style and the way they decide to wear their clothes, I feel that every last person in the collage is taking some type of fashion risk whether its a delicate risk like most of the people are taking, or a more extreme risk like Nicki Minaj, Lady GaGa, and Beyonce. Fashion is what you feel, not what others feel or tend to perceive as "fashion". To take risks in fashion is to be extreme and over the top, to be sexy and even comfortable. The trick to taking a risk in fashion is solely based on how the person wears "ROCKS" it!
I think most of theses outfits would be considered a fashon risk because people judge people based on what they look like. I think if a person wears all kinds of things that arnt normally warn they are trying to make a statement . I also think people shouldnt have to wear rediculous clothing to make a statement.
I believe the most fashion risk involved includes the pictures of the runway models or the red carpet pictures. It is not so much a risk to the event that they attended, however, if those persons wore that for an everyday attire, the risk would be high. I personally like Nikki Minaj's outfit as she looks confident in it. The least risk taken from the photos are the dress suits and sweat pants. It is a common attire and would not be thought about twice. I believe Michelle Obama's outfits are not risky, but are simple and classy.
I feel that everyone has their own sense of style, otherwise they wouldn't be who they are or wearing what they are wearing. I feel that all of these could be fashion risks with people and their opinions and with fashion trends. What one person might feel is a risk, someone else might not feel the same way. If I had to choose which ones were a fashion risk, I would say all of them because no matter what you have on there is always a possibility that it will be talked about. What someone decides to where is up to them and their own free will. Everything is a risk nowadays in society.
To me anything in clothing that provokes either the wearer or a viewer to say "Wow!" whether it be a good thing or a bad thing is a fashion risk. Even clothing that you wouldn't think to be a "fashion risk." Such things as a celebrity just wearing jeans and a sweatshirt because the media protrays celebrities as always being glamorous. These "fashion risks" can also be a college guy dressing up instead of just wearing his usual jeans and t-shirt. Although some of these "fashion risks" would just be risks to the person and their friends some people take risks a little further like Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga.
The biggest risk on this page is Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga continues to wear outfits like these which shows me that she is not too concerned what people think or say about her. She expresses herself in her own way through her appearance, whether a good or bad thing. Nicki Minaj also takes fashion risks, but I think she represents hers better than Lady Gaga and is not continuously dressing with risk. Michelle Obama is always applauded on her outfits and the way that she represents herself, husband, and her family. She is always dressed very conservative.
Dressing in a way that is not the "Norm" or even just a little "different" is a fashion risk; whether it be Lady Gaga in her off the wall clothing choices or a celebrity in sweats it is a fashion risk. It is also a fashion risk for someone who is always in the public eye to no be wearing there finest clothing and done up with makeup. Our society places a very large burden on each of its members to live up to its expectations of how each person should dress as well as act. Each member has a different status, and therefore each person is expected to act and dress in a way that a person of their status is "supposed to" act and dress. Lady Gaga is expected to dress crazy, so if she didn't it wouldn't be the norm; The first lady is expected to dress conservatively, and if she didn't, people WOULD definitely respond.
I think pretty much all of these outfits are fashion "risks" and out of the "norm" because they are not what we usually see everyday. But then again, they may think the opposite & feel what they wear is part of the "norm" and we are the ones taking a fashion "risk." Michelle Obama's outfits look very professional and classy. I think she is expected to dress like this seeing that she is the president's wife. People would have so many negative comments to say about her if she was to dress like Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga dresses in a way that she really doesn't care what people have to say and looks really different and I think she tries to stand out. Whereas, Michelle Obama would never be able to get away with that simply because much more is expected from her in our society. People look up to her as a role model and an important figure to many. She would only get criticized and not the "okay" that Lady Gaga gets.
I think that Lady Gaga has the biggest fashion risks here. Everyone knows her as the woman wearing very riksy outfits/practically nothing. Im not sure if I have ever seen here wear anything "normal". Michelle Obama is always seen very classy and elegant clothing and i think she takes the least fashion risks. While Nicki Minaj takes some fashion risks with the dress she is wearing, she doesnt take as much risk as Lady Gaga.
Everyone one of these fashion choices are some sort of risk. Society deems what is normal and what is not, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj deviate from our social norms and therefore are easily seen as the ones who create more of a fashion "risk" rather than Reese Witherspoon or Michelle Obama. If our social norms included dressing like Lady Gaga than Michelle Obama would be the fashion "risk."
One the most important things in our society is how we look as in fashion wise. Many people such as Lady Gaga take a fashion risk everyday by what they wear even though it is not considered a fashion norm. People like Michelle Obama can not really take a fashoin risk becuase she is expected to dress a certain way to maintain an image portrayed by the media. I think if someone takes a fashion risk they are either going to be accepted by society or hated. Also fashion is supposed to be risky and everyone should take more of a chance with what they wear.
I think everyone is entitled to their own style and sense of fashion. Yes some may be a little riskier than others but all fashion has some sense of risk to it. Without the risk of fashion people would all the same and dress in a similiar manner. But to pick which celeb has the riskiest fashion it would be the obvious choice of lady gaga. Every outfit she wears is over the top and something people have never seen people. She is the defintion of risk.
I dont think any of them was a big fashion risk even though they all had differnt styles and a completly differnt look. Many people may think that those who wore the wrasps on their heads could have been taking a risk by adding a culture with fashion but i personanlly feel everyone is has their own beliefs . If i had to pick a person who take the biggest fasion risk i would have to pick lady gaga!
I feel that Reese Witherspoon is taking a fashion risk because she is a celebrity and celebrities have reputations to uphold. If it were a college student for instance sweats would be perfectly fine. Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Nikki Minaj are all taking fashion risks as well they are wearing different styles that we normally don't see. But i feel that Lady Gaga has been so extreme that it is something we are starting to get used to. As for Michelle Obama I think she is taking a risk because normally first ladies don't wear such extreme colors but she is still being conservative so it isn't too extreme.
I feel that Michelle Obama is taking a risk wearing bright colors, and sleeveless dresses as we talked about in class. It shows off her bright personality and stylish figure. Lady Gaga, as always is taking a risk of what the world thinks of her fashion. Although at the same time she has become known for wearing outlandish outfits, thus this is not much of a risk for her. I believe everyone of these outfits are fashion risk in some way.
I feel that the men in the beginning photos are not taking much of a fashion risk by the outfits they are wearing. Michelle Obama doesn't seem to be taking much of a risk by her normal clothing. Lady Gagas' outfits are a fashion risk because her outfits are so unique and different, but that is just how she is. Beyonce and Nicki Minaj are also taking a fashion risk because their outfits are different and very interesting. The girl at the bottom is also taking a risk because her outfit is a little bit odd. Kayla Anglese
In my opinion, there are many fashion risks taken by the people in the photos. Lady Gaga is, as always, taking a risk. Though the public is probably used to seeing her in outrageous "costumes" by now, it does not make her outfits any less risky. In the photo she is almost completely nude, covered only by bubbles. I think that's a huge risk for anybody. Also, I think Reese Witherspoon is taking a risk as well. Though she is dressed casually, like anyone else would dress on a daily basis, for her status as a beautiful famous actress it is risky for her to be going out in public without make up or nice clothing on. Even though many stars do dress that way, because they are humans, they risk the paparazzi catching an unflattering photo of them and it hitting the magazines instantly.
I feel like each person has their own personal style. Whether it be in sweat pants or a funky dress or outfit. If they like their style and consider it different then they should own it. Who cares what the paparazzi has to say anyway? Have pride in your style and wear your clothing proudly. Society has certain styles and looks. We all know what is "in" and what is "out" so to speak. We usually follow this and copy a lot on what celebrities wear. Maybe we should all just have our own unique style.
I did not post earlier in the week because I was unaware if I was going to stay in this course, but I recently found out that I am in fact in need of a HUM requirement so I am sticking with it.
It seems that every celebrity example is taking a fashion risk in one way or another depending on the viewer. Society puts a label on everything, the way people present themselves being one of them. A person is looked at "differently" or in an awkward position if they appear outside of the norm. If people took others' opinions into consideration, everyone would dress, talk, and act the same; however, everyone has their own unique style and in my opinion, most celebrities thrive on attention so they are possibly presenting themselves like this on purpose. These examples might seem risky to some because they attain vibrant colors (Michelle Obama), obnoxious structure (Minaj and Beyonce), or a statement represented against American culture (Gwen Stefani's gem and the women dressed with scarves around their faces). When a contradiction against the norm is made, a judgment coincides.
I think the one's that are taking fashion risks are the pictures starting from right below the man in the suit under Michelle Obama. The reason I feel this are because the different men in "suits" are trying to make suits in to an every day outfit but they are meant to be dressed up not dressed down. Also that pictures of the other famous women they are trying to make a statement by wearing things that no average person would get the opportunity to wear. Except for Resee Witherspoon whom I believe is trying to make a statement by saying that she is just a normal person like everyone else and can wear sweats just like the next person.

ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with the comment that majority of the models and celebrities represent a fashion risk because at anytime there are people who disagree with what they are wearing because it may not reflect society’s definition everyday attire, such as sweatshirt and jeans. I feel that Michelle Obama’s outfit is somewhat not a risk because people expect her to dress conservatively as the First Lady opposed to more revealing outfits. If she were to wear more revealing outfits then it may bring a lot of negative attention but she plays it safe which is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteLike a previous blogger said, depending on who's judging any of these outfits can be considered a fashion risk.
ReplyDeleteI think that the most blatant fashion risks that are represented above are the outfits that Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga are wearing.
ReplyDeleteI think some outfits are more risky than others.

ReplyDeleteI think as some people have said lady gaga's outfit is probably the most unique outfit.
ReplyDeleteI feel that a lot of these outfits could be considered fashion risks.
ReplyDeleteI think that all these pictures show some type of risk in its own way. Michelle Obama shows risk because the first lady is considered to be very conservative and wear just blazers. Her style is a style different she always has some type of color on. But overall Nicki Minaji and Lady Gaga are taking the most risk.
ReplyDeleteFashion in and of itself is risky due to the many young men and women that idolize and follow celebrities in the media.
ReplyDeleteI think that most of these photos are considered a fashion risk.
ReplyDeleteI think that Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga have the most risk in their outfits. They set a new side to fashion in general. I don't think that Michelle Obama shows a risk at all. In her outfits she is very conservative which she needs to be in the position that she is in.

ReplyDeleteI feel that any of these outfits can be considered fashion risks.
ReplyDeleteI think that most fashion is considered risky because no matter what someone is wearing, something is always said about it.
ReplyDeleteLady Gaga's outfit is a fashion risk because it shows her creativity and that she don't care about anyone's opinion on what she wears. The bubble outfit is something that is out of the norm but in her eyes and maybe a few others, this is normal. I don't believe anyone can actually judge someone else in fashion because everyone have their own sense of style and they express themselves differently in doing so. Shanicqua Landis
ReplyDeleteAfter looking at every single persons personal style and the way they decide to wear their clothes, I feel that every last person in the collage is taking some type of fashion risk whether its a delicate risk like most of the people are taking, or a more extreme risk like Nicki Minaj, Lady GaGa, and Beyonce. Fashion is what you feel, not what others feel or tend to perceive as "fashion". To take risks in fashion is to be extreme and over the top, to be sexy and even comfortable. The trick to taking a risk in fashion is solely based on how the person wears "ROCKS" it!
ReplyDeleteI think most of theses outfits would be considered a fashon risk because people judge people based on what they look like. I think if a person wears all kinds of things that arnt normally warn they are trying to make a statement . I also think people shouldnt have to wear rediculous clothing to make a statement.
ReplyDeleteI believe the most fashion risk involved includes the pictures of the runway models or the red carpet pictures.
ReplyDeleteI feel that everyone has their own sense of style, otherwise they wouldn't be who they are or wearing what they are wearing.
ReplyDeleteTo me anything in clothing that provokes either the wearer or a viewer to say "Wow!" whether it be a good thing or a bad thing is a fashion risk.
ReplyDeleteThe biggest risk on this page is Lady Gaga.
ReplyDeleteDressing in a way that is not the "Norm" or even just a little "different" is a fashion risk; whether it be Lady Gaga in her off the wall clothing choices or a celebrity in sweats it is a fashion risk.

ReplyDeleteI think pretty much all of these outfits are fashion "risks" and out of the "norm" because they are not what we usually see everyday.

ReplyDeleteI think that Lady Gaga has the biggest fashion risks here.
Kelly Stevens
ReplyDeleteEveryone one of these fashion choices are some sort of risk.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone is entitled to their own style and sense of fashion.
ReplyDeleteI dont think any of them was a big fashion risk even though they all had differnt styles and a completly differnt look. Many people may think that those who wore the wrasps on their heads could have been taking a risk by adding a culture with fashion but i personanlly feel everyone is has their own beliefs . If i had to pick a person who take the biggest fasion risk i would have to pick lady gaga!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments.

ReplyDelete-Abeer (Abby) Blan
I feel that Michelle Obama is taking a risk wearing bright colors, and sleeveless dresses as we talked about in class. It shows off her bright personality and stylish figure. Lady Gaga, as always is taking a risk of what the world thinks of her fashion. Although at the same time she has become known for wearing outlandish outfits, thus this is not much of a risk for her. I believe everyone of these outfits are fashion risk in some way.
ReplyDeleteAndrew Bland
I feel that the men in the beginning photos are not taking much of a fashion risk by the outfits they are wearing. Michelle Obama doesn't seem to be taking much of a risk by her normal clothing. Lady Gagas' outfits are a fashion risk because her outfits are so unique and different, but that is just how she is. Beyonce and Nicki Minaj are also taking a fashion risk because their outfits are different and very interesting. The girl at the bottom is also taking a risk because her outfit is a little bit odd.
ReplyDeleteKayla Anglese
ReplyDelete-courtney wolfe

ReplyDeleteIt seems that every celebrity example is taking a fashion risk in one way or another depending on the viewer.

ReplyDeleteI think the one's that are taking fashion risks are the pictures starting from right below the man in the suit under Michelle Obama.
